About NITTE School of Architecture, Planning & Design

Nitte School of Architecture Planning and Design (NSAPD) was founded in the year 2016 under the care of Nitte Education Trust. The institution aims to produce professionally trained Architects and Planners who are capable to evolve innovative approaches for the development and management of building designs. NSAPD offers Under Graduate programmes in B.Arch and B.Plan. NSAPD is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological university and is approved by AICTE, Council of Architecture, Institute of Town Planners, India and Government of Karnataka. NSAPD is the only institution to offer the B.Plan program in Karnataka, which is approved by AICTE and affiliated to VTU.

At NSAPD, we constantly encourage students to explore, innovate and engage in cross- disciplinary thinking. This will pave the way to find sustainable solutions for the problems faced in urban India. We have the best infrastructural facilities in Karnataka and our building itself speaks for the design education we provide in the campus. We share the campus facilities with Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology. This ensures a collaborative space for the students to learn and work with peer groups from other branches of engineering and management.

We focus on multi-dimensional and holistic development of our students to enhance their threshold capacity. Students have various clubs to pursue their co-curricular interests. We facilitate opportunities to interact with experts from different fields through workshops, summer schools, study tours, webinars, conferences etc. In addition to the cultural events and fests, we also have a Technical Open Hub. We have also established IGBC Nitte SPAD Students’ Chapter in association with NMIT, Bangalore and IIA Nitte SAP Students’ Centre. These tie ups will go a long way in giving students opportunities and exposure.

  1. Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
  2. Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan)

Eligibility

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) : Pass in 12th standard with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 12th standard examination.

OR

Pass in 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Besides this, candidates are required to qualify in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by CoA aptitude test in Architecture.

Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan): Candidates must pass 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates From The Reserved category). The Appilcant must Have ATTENDED CET(any state) COMDEK UGET OR JEE paper 2/3 OR NATA
